We are looking for an experienced Creative Arts practitioner to lead our Creative Arts Department from January 2025.
We are currently seeking to appoint a Head of Creative Arts who can demonstrate an infectious passion for teaching and expert subject knowledge with the expertise to effectively manage and motivate a team.
We would be particularly interested to receive applications from Food Preparation and Nutrition teachers.
You should have a strong background in leading a team to develop pupils’ abilities in the Creative Arts across a range of subjects. At Nottingham Girls’ Academy, we currently deliver Art & Design, Food Preparation & Nutrition, Graphics, Resistant Materials and Textiles as part of our curriculum.
To be successful in this role, you will be an exceptional and passionate practitioner who is keen to facilitate the progress of all pupils. You will:
- Engage and enthuse our learners through a commitment to consistent and inspirational teaching and learning
- Contribute to the further development of a strong and forward-looking team
- Be innovative in your techniques to motivate and inspire young people
- Build positive relationships with staff, pupils and parents alike
