Join our team as a Strategic Account Manager at SHI, where you'll play a pivotal role in managing and expanding our business within our Strategic client segments. This dynamic position involves owning the entire sales process and collaborating with our Sales Leadership, Internal Support, Solutions, and Alliances teams to offer innovative solutions and world-class support.
As a Strategic Account Manager, you'll have the opportunity to nurture and grow existing client relationships while leading teams to acquire new clients within our Strategic accounts segment. Working closely with our Customer Experience (CX) team and other departments, you'll ensure that SHI's clients receive unparalleled service and value. This role reports directly to the Strategic Sales Leadership and requires attendance at a local SHI office 1-2 days a week, along with regular customer visits.
Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Developing and expanding business with existing clients, while winning new clients to achieve ambitious, yet achievable, sales targets.
- Engaging in regular, proactive face-to-face and virtual meetings with clients to help them solve their biggest problems.
- Collaborating with the Alliances team and leveraging existing contacts to build strong relationships with key partners and vendors.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5-year sales experience in a similar sales role
- University Degree or relevant work experience

Unique Requirements
- This role is 50% remote and 50% at an SHI location. The International Account Director will be expected to come into a local UK-based office 1-3 days a week and make regular customer visits.
