• Guides the construction sites to ensure work is carried out according to plans and specifications;
• Collects data using specialized equipment such as total stations, GPS receivers, and other equipment;
• Maps and measures the location of physical features such as buildings, roads, and waterways;
• Conducts surveys to determine the boundaries of a piece of land and the size, shape, and contours of the land;
• Establishes rights-of-way on area roads taken from the survey data;
• Performs basic and advanced field calculations for all aspects of survey work;
• Verifies the accuracy of survey data, including measurements and calculations conducted at survey sites;
• Prepares the daily engineer’s report, plots, maps, and other needed reports;
• Performs other duties that are incident to his/her office or are entrusted to him/her by the top Management and/or Project Engineer.
