Head of HR
Location: Leeds
Salary: £65,000 - £70,000
Elevation HR are working exclusively with a Leeds based international business to recruit a Head of HR. If you are a HR professional who enjoys and embraces change, can show consistent delivery of change in your career, and is genuinely motivated by employee engagement and what value this can add to a business, then this could be the ideal role for you.
Reporting directly into the CEO, you will be the HR lead for the UK business. The company has a lovely family feel to it, more than corporate, and this would suit a more hands-on HR professional who still enjoys the day-to-day of HR but has the capacity and the ability to operate at a senior level, influencing key stakeholders and getting involved in both strategic and operational work.
The business at the moment will rely on you for its technical expertise, and whilst you will have a team supporting you on the operational delivery side, you will need to have up-to-date operational HR knowledge across all areas.
Employee engagement is at the top of the CEO's agenda, and this will be a big part of your role, ensuring that wherever an employee is based they feel part of the journey.
You will need to be reasonably astute and tough as you will be working with bright and switched on stakeholders who will expect you to be understanding of their role but also be there to guide them in the right direction.
Ideally, this role would suit someone who has operated in a professional services multi-site business who has managed people and operated across various sites remotely as well as face to face.
