URGENT EXCLUSIVE CONTRACT: SENIOR DATA ENGINEER

Join a growing team as they scale to deliver CRM / loyalty data solutions to this global sports brand. Core skills in building CRM data pipelines and diving best practice are required.
You will work closely with the CRM campaign management teams, so previous experience here is strongly preferred (ideally with Braze). Join this global consultancy to work with their sports client in driving best practice around data engineering for CRM purposes.
You will work in a brand-new team, under the leadership of some of the industry’s most recognisable and admired senior data and CRM leaders, as they start their journey to optimise customer journey, personalisation, and automation for end customers.
As part of a new, agile team of experts tasked with delivering a range of CRM and loyalty propositions and solutions, you will engage, consult, and build strong relationships with the client’s in-house Data Engineering function. Therefore, a strong background in building data pipelines for CRM purposes is key.
Technically, you will also need experience with GCP and ideally a modern CRM campaign management tool such as Braze, Salesforce, Hubspot, or Mailchimp. You will work to fully qualify and understand your client’s data environment, in order to build best practice around Data Engineering processes, in close collaboration with their internal teams to scale and deliver data engineering to enable strategic CRM aims.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Educated to degree level in a technical subject; Engineering, Machine Learning, AI, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Physics, Chemistry.
- Proven experience in a Data Engineering role within a CRM environment.
- Experience in a cloud-based environment with GCP is ESSENTIAL .
- Experience with a CRM campaign management tool also strongly preferred; Braze, Salesforce, Hubspot, etc.
- Skills in leading from the front, establishing ideas and processes around data engineering best practice.
- Strong communication style; ability to engage, influence and gain buy-in from technical and non-technical stakeholders as well as push back when necessary.
- Broad contextual knowledge of the application of data in a marketing / CRM / loyalty environment.
