Payroll Manager - London Hybrid
Are you a payroll manager with experience setting up end-to-end processes and supporting system implementations?
Our client is a national partnership of leading independent insurance brokers specializing in property and casualty and employee benefits.
The Payroll Manager will be responsible for managing the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with UK and Ireland regulations. The ideal candidate will have experience with Dayforce and Workday systems, system implementation knowledge, benefit administration, and a strong understanding of payroll processes and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the entire payroll function for the organisation, ensuring all payroll changes are submitted to our outsourcer accurately and deadlines are met (outsourced through Dayforce).
- Be the subject matter expert in payroll across UK&I, playing a role in analytics and other projects to support the business (e.g., gender pay gap reporting).
- Utilise Dayforce and Workday systems to process and manage payroll and benefit data.
- Play a leading role in the initial build of the payroll module of the Workday HRIS system.
- Lead data gathering and support the implementation of payroll systems and enhancements.
- Work with the corporate payroll team in the US and ensure alignment with global payroll strategies.
Qualifications:
- CIPP qualified or similar.
- Proven experience as a Payroll Manager or in a similar role.
- Strong proficiency in payroll systems, preferably Dayforce and Workday.
- Experience with payroll system implementation and enhancements.
- In-depth knowledge of UK and Ireland payroll regulations and legislation.
