Your new role
As our new Senior Consultant you will lead projects with confidence and embrace continuous learning to excel in your technical field. This role is about innovation, effective project management, and fostering strong client relationships with clients who strive for excellence in sustainability.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- Plan, undertake, coordinate, and supervise BREEAM Infrastructure/CEEQUAL projects, including managing client relationships, project budgets, and team resources across a portfolio of projects within the public and private sectors.
- Work alongside our engineering, building, transport and other teams as required to support client projects.
- Engage in wider sustainability projects that could include sustainability services, whole life carbon assessments, LCA's and carbon reporting.
- Serve as a positive team member, embodying Ramboll's expected behaviours.
- Support training and knowledge sharing with junior staff.
Your new team
You will be part of our Sustainability and Carbon team within the UK Environment and Health business unit. We provide services in corporate net zero strategy, science-based targets advisory, carbon data management, energy efficiency, sustainability and climate risk, biodiversity net gain, natural capital, EHS management, impact assessment, health sciences, air quality, BREEAM Infrastructure and due diligence to diverse clients in various sectors.
About you
For this role, we have identified some qualifications, skills, and capabilities that will set you up for success:
- Typically three to five years' experience, including certified BREEAM Infrastructure/CEEQUAL Assessor and demonstrable experience of delivering or supervising BREEAM Infrastructure Assessor projects.
- Wider understanding of sustainability and experience in one or more of the following sustainability skills: whole life carbon assessments, LCAs, and Environmental Impact Assessments.
- Excellent client and team engagement and relationship building experience.
- Proficient in preparing commercially effective proposals, tenders, and deliverables.
- Effective project management skills to support managing projects on time and to budget.
- Experience in writing and reviewing reports, including contributions to Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) or Strategic Environmental Assessments.
- Demonstrated flexibility/adaptability and willingness to learn new skills.
