Sponsorship Sales Manager – Sustainability
£ Up to 60,000 + Uncapped OTE 100k+
London (3-4 x office)
My client is a young & well-backed launch looking to put a series of events together across the Energy space. Due to expansion, a role has arisen for a high-achieving Sponsorship Manager to work on a mixture of new business & existing accounts. This event is regarded as one of the best already in its space.
The Candidate: Needs to be an established and ambitious individual to drive the sales efforts nationally. Must be self-motivated and have demonstrable experience in exceeding sales targets and inspiring others to do so. Inspirational, consultative, and process-driven, you must have the drive and ability to lead by example in our specialised, high-performance sales team.
Who you are:
- 2 years of relevant sponsorship sales experience with a track record of exceeding targets
- Proven track record of delivering results
- First-class knowledge of marketing techniques, particularly the use of electronic direct marketing, website development, and events marketing
- Entrepreneurial, strategic, and ambitious
- Possess extensive knowledge of sales principles and practices
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills; data-driven approach to making strategic decisions
- Ability to work with other function leaders (management, content, marketing, etc.) to deliver overarching commercial strategy
- Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
- Proven business and strategic acumen
Responsibilities:
- Manage personal time to deliver against KPIs/targets
- Ownership of all plans and strategies in your area of business development, pursuant to the company’s commercial goals
- Develop the sales plan
- Prepare forecasts and reporting for management for use in strategic planning and budget setting
- Cultivate lasting relationships with customers to grow customer loyalty
- Maintain sales volume by tracking changing trends, economic indicators, competitors, and supply and demand
- Maintain consistently high levels of productive sales activity, including cold calls, face-to-face meetings, presentations, social, and email outreach
