Position: Provisioning Analyst
Location: Hyderabad, Telangana
Job Description :
Assigning Laptops to FTEs and Non-FTES
- Imaging laptops (New and re-deplorable) following the hardware request tickets.
- The image designed for Salesforce is provided by Client Engineering Team in Salesforce.
- Laptops responsible by the Value Added Reseller are excluded from this scope.
- No requests without the designated formed tickets or hardware request tickets are accepted
- Checking status of the new hire accounts before the NHs onboard.
- If any issue is found, immediately report to the team in charge of creating an account.
- Coordinating with ES / Onboarding team so that the PCs are delivered to NHs in time.
- Shipping Coordination
- Collect the shipping address information from the FTE
- Arranging the delivery utilizing the Yamato Transport system
- Coordinating collection by FedEx when required to ship PCs to South Korea.
- Coordination with the value-added reseller if necessary, so that the PCs are deployed smoothly.
Manage Break & Fix Work
- Processing the diagnosing task and repair
- Re-imaging the hardware in cases that improvement is expected by doing so
- Arrange repairs with manufacturers (e.g. Apple. Dell) if the issue is not resolved
- Request repair approval for HAM in advance in cases of charged repairs.
- Coordinating with users and manufacturers for the collection date.
- Deploying loaner laptops when necessary, during repair
Manage Asset Swap
- Coordinating with HAM to kick the swap cases
- Sharing Techforce team with the knowledge and rules regarding end of life and swap eligible cases
- If required creating SWAP cases as a result of negotiating with HAM.
- Answering queries from the users regarding asset swap (e.g. if the PC is eligible for SWAP or not)
- Managing the swap cases until the returned assets are physically confirmed return in Salesforce tower
Inventory Management
- Updating the transaction of the tech asset precisely
- Unboxing returned boxes from employees for termination, swap return, loaner return.
- Closing the termination cases after confirming the return
- Co-working with Global Audit team for Quarterly Audit tasks.
- Remediation task for the missing items after the audit
- Disposal of the asset that passed End of life
- Make sure that all the data is wiped using the designated wiping tool by Salesforce
- Coordinate with the designated disposal vendor (amount, date, etc..)
Out of Scope
- Managing VAR (creating accounts for engineers, knowledge transfer) is out of scope.
