First phase of the project is completed with selection of technology, implementation partner. The second phase of the project is to design and deliver global templates along with localizations. The third phase is global rollouts to it’s legal entities that are in scope. A comprehensive application support will be in place after go-live of entities that are in scope.
Piab group is looking for a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Functional Specialist who should work hands-on in D365.

Position information:
As Microsoft Dynamics 365 Functional Specialist, you will be responsible to collect requirements from business teams globally and translate business requirements into system solutions in the area of sales, order management, pricing, sourcing, purchasing and manufacturing . You will design and configure D365 and work closely with development team to realize business requirements for extended solutions. You will also be responsible for testing of solutions before handing over to business teams and assist business for functional testing. You will lead training in your responsibility area. You will lead go-live activities together with the cross-functional teams. You will provide support after go-live and work on maintenance activities.
The role will be part of the global IT team. Global Digital and IT Service is responsible to provide IT services and large programs, projects to support business strategy. The role is within the business transformation that is responsible for enterprise applications and large scale transformation programs both in Digital and IT. The role reports to the Director Business Transformation.
Role description
- Business requirements
- Collect business requirements.
- Analyze business requirements and perform GAP/Fit analysis.
- Discuss with the business stakeholders about best fit solution proposal.
- Lead sign-off process together with the key stakeholders.
- During the process, ensure appropriate documentations are completed.
- Design
- Lead and perform solution design activities together with the delivery team.
- Consider cross-functional impacts.
- Apply standard and industry best practices while designing solutions.
- Apprise business stakeholders about the proposed design and obtain required sign-off with business and IT stakeholders.
- Data management
- Understand data requirements.
- Map data from source to target applications.
- Assist in data migration activities.
- Configure and develop
- Perform configuration in D365 according to specification. Also coordinate with delivery team to get required configuration completed where ever applicable.
- Ensure appropriate documentation of configurations.
- Explain functional solutions to development team for building right solutions.
- Coordinate with development team for solution development completion.
- Review the solutions delivered by development team and perform unit & required regression testing.
- Testing
- Work closely with business stakeholders to identify test scenarios and test cases.
- Perform unit, regression and system integration testing.
- Take part in non-functional testing.
- Assist in user acceptance test.

- Contribute to training strategy.
- Prepare training material.
- Conduct required trainings.
- Go-live
- Provide input to cut-over planning.

- Hans-on approach
- D365 ERP solution touches business processes in sales, order management, pricing, sourcing, purchasing, manufacturing, inventory, warehousing, transportation, field service, financial management. Therefore, a very hands-on and cross-functional approach is needed in this role. The role focuses on delivering business values through best fit technology solution in collaboration with key stakeholders from business and IT.
Required Experience
- Poses relevant Bachelor or Master Degree.
- 5-8 years of relevant functional work experience within Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- Thorough knowledge and experience in the area of sales, order management, pricing, sourcing, procurement and manufacturing.
- Experience working in large and complex D365 ERP projects is required.
- Experience working with maintenance and support in D365 is required.
- Experience working with data migration, integrations is required.
- Experience working in international environments and assignments are necessary. Have experience working with Europe, US, Asia implementations (Global implementation)
- Experience working with tools like Jira / HP ALM / ServiceNow, SharePoint is required.
- Experience working in leading requirement, solution workshops.
- Demonstrate solid ability to work collaborative way in a team.
- Experience working agile and waterfall methodology. Thorough understanding of change, release, deploy, testing, training and IT service methodologies.
- Able to understand business needs and translate business needs into tangible solutions.
- Willingness to travel.
- Experience from B2B organization is an advantage.

- Experience working with MS word, Power points, Excel and project related tools.
