About the role :
We are seeking a talented Content Writer to join our SEO team and enhance our clients' websites with fresh blog posts, informative guides, and compelling marketing copy.
As a Content Writer, your responsibilities will include conducting in-depth research on industry-specific topics, brainstorming innovative content ideas, and meticulously proofreading articles before they go live. If you have experience creating engaging online content and keen attention to detail, we’d love to hear from you. In this role, you’ll produce high-quality writing that resonates with target audiences, draws in customers, and strengthens a brand's presence.
Responsibilities :
Writing content for e-commerce category pages, blog articles and occasionally EDMs.
Research industry-specific topics by combining insights from online sources, interviews, and studies.
Craft clear and persuasive copy to effectively promote products or services.
Review and refine blog posts to ensure they are polished before publication.
Submit completed work to clients for feedback and final approval.
Collaborate with the marketing and design teams to visually enhance articles.
Perform basic keyword research and apply SEO best practices to boost web traffic.
Identify content gaps and customer needs, and suggest fresh topic ideas.
Maintain consistency in brand voice, tone, style, fonts, images, and tone throughout all content.
Manage content production schedule.
Update website content as necessary.
Skills and Experience :
Demonstrated experience as a Content Writer, Copywriter, or in a comparable role.
A portfolio showcasing published articles.
Proven ability to conduct research using diverse sources.
Familiarity with online publications.
Strong writing and editing proficiency in English.
Practical experience with Content Management Systems (e.g., WordPress, Shopify, Magento).
Ability to consistently meet deadlines.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, English, Journalism, or a related discipline.
Familiar with SEO best practices, particularly with on-site optimisation.
Familiar with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, etc.
