Facilities Officer (3-Month Contract) Location: Kalgoorlie
We are seeking a committed and professional Facilities Officer to join one of our government clients on a full-time, 3-month contract based in Kalgoorlie with a view of extension.
About the Role: As a Facilities Officer, you will play a central role in the management and maintenance of our facilities.
Your key responsibilities will include: - Oversee the security operations to ensure a safe environment.
- Manage and coordinate refurbishment projects.
- Supervise on-site contractors and ensure all contracts are managed effectively.
- Conduct thorough building inductions for new staff and contractors.
- Maintain accurate records through efficient database and asset management.
- Perform detailed on-site cleaning inspections to ensure high standards of cleanliness.
- Provide exceptional customer service to staff and contractors, ensuring a well-maintained and efficient environment.
About you: - Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong numeracy and literacy skills.
- High accuracy in data entry with a strong attention to detail.
- Ability to adapt to changing and potentially conflicting priorities.
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with both staff and contractors.
- Previous experience in government roles is highly regarded.
- Experience in building, property, fleet, or facility management roles is an advantage.
- A valid National Police Clearance is essential.
