Work Type: Contract/Temp Team leadership role
Contract Duration: 12 Month Contract (possibility of going permanent)
Salary: $180k - $200k + Super
This well-known consumer products business, with a number of market-leading brands in their portfolio, is currently looking for a Senior Commercial Manager to join their Commercial Finance function on an initial 12-month contract.
As a key finance business partner to an experienced Sales and RGM team, this role will be heavily involved in the decision-making processes across the business. Key duties will include:
- Providing insights to the business to help drive strategic decision making
- Partnering with key stakeholders across the business to influence financially driven outcomes
- Helping drive revenue growth initiatives across the business
- Customer profitability modelling
- Designing pricing and promotional strategy
- Reviewing and analysing NPD submissions with a focus on financial feasibility and risks/opportunities of new brands
- Continually improving systems and processes
- Ad hoc duties as required
The ideal candidate for this role will possess:
- Excellent communication skills
- Strategic thought process and critical thinking
- FMCG/Retail experience is essential (preference for experience within liquor, wine, or beer businesses)
- Business partnering experience
