Hours for 2nd shift:
4:30 pm-3 am, starting wage based on experience $19+$1.75 (differential)
Hours for 3rd shift:
5:30 am-6 pm, starting wage based on experience $19+$2.50 (differential)
The Material Handler is responsible for performing tasks involving the shipping and receiving of finished materials.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operating mechanical forklifts, pallet jacks, and stock picker lift trucks.
- Operating and maintaining RF Scanner (handheld warehouse computer).
- Accurate and timely selecting of orders.
- Accurately completing work order sheets.
- Notify supervisor or FSQ of discrepancies.
- Ensure products are correctly labeled and identified for proper storing and use.
- Distribute the items received to the person or department for which the item was ordered.
- Daily shipments must be picked, counts verified, pallets wrapped or stacked neatly for pick-ups, marked accordingly to customer, transportation and location of shipment.
- Load finished goods onto trailer within specified timeframe.
- Maintain an accurate inventory of finished products and supplies in the warehouse.
- Safety Operate a Forklift, Pallet Jack, and/or Strait Truck.
- Follow daily production schedule and achieve specified goals.
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) training, along with company pre-requisite programs, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s), and Standard Sanitation Operating Procedures (SSOP’s).
- Cleaning and maintaining warehouse floor and facilities as needed.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as necessary.
- Following set company and OSHA safety rules, regulations, and guidelines at all times.
Required Education: High School Diploma or GED, preferred.
Preferred:
- 1-3 Months related manufacturing or food experience, preferred.
- Knowledge of warehouse and lift trucks experience.
- Basic knowledge of supply chain, purchasing, materials, and/or Manufacturing.
- Knowledge of SAP.
REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE and ABILITIES:
- Excellent attendance and dependability.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Work well with others.
- Working knowledge of computers and basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Excellent verbal communication skills; must work effectively with others.
