Job Description
Treasury Assistant
The Treasury Assistant is primarily tasked with rendering efficient administrative services for the department based on the summary list below. Key job result areas include on-time processing of all day-to-day transactions within the area of responsibility.
I. PLANNING
Recommends improvements in disbursement procedures.
II. DOING/EXECUTION
Prepares the following: LBC or Courier pouches for Check Disbursement Summary of BIR 2307 for submission to BDO for outsource check releasing Check Deposit Slips per Supplier then email proof of payment with scanned copy of BIR 2307 Email notification of collection availability to Local Suppliers Check Releasing to Local Suppliers Filing of documents (attachment of ORs/ARs, validated deposit slips, BIR 2307, and other supporting documents)
III. ACTING/ADJUSTING
Implements process adjustments as a result of checking/reconciliation of documents with the approval of the immediate superior.
IV. OTHERS
Performs related functions as required by the Immediate Superior.
COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS
I. KNOWLEDGE
General knowledge of data entry procedures. Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, and other office procedures. Aptitude for working with numbers.
II. SKILLS
Computer proficiency � on MS Office applications; system proficiency based on the requirements of the operation. Interpersonal skills � relates to internal and external contacts. Communication skills � ability to convey simple messages or instructions; ability to compose simple communication letters. Multi-tasking skills � ability to work on simple to complex tasks within a given time. Analytical skills � ability to comprehend relationships of data/information at hand. Priority skills � ability to organize tasks according to their level of importance. Customer service skills � ability to address issues and concerns within their level of authority.
III. EDUCATIONAL ATTAINMENT
BS Accountancy or any 4-year related business courses.
IV. EXPERIENCE
Preferably with at least one (1) year experience in cash disbursement functions, but fresh graduates may apply.
