Job Description
Key Accountabilities:
• To process and oversee the completion of monthly payroll operations to ensure accuracy and compliance with statutory for MY & SG.
• To act as backup for monthly payroll for ID.
• Provides direction and assistance to Senior Payroll Associates regarding payroll processes.
• Coordinate the workload of the Payroll Team and monitor them.
• Provide advice and assist on employee leave management and queries.
• Ensure timely submission of CPF.
• Prepare and submission of IR21 tax clearance for foreign leavers.
• Submit government reimbursement for NS claim, maternity, paternity, childcare leaves
• To give recommendations to director for final decisions on queries and escalation.
• Develop/review/update policies and procedures to ensure statutory compliance and alignment with HR strategy and plans
• Liaise with auditors, assisting as necessary and providing any required information
• Work closely with Finance to ensure that processes align and work effectively
• Yearly Tax Returns preparation and check on the Benefits in kind submitted.
• Assist in work pass application, renewal, cancellation for Resources Singapore
Qualifications
Experience
• Minimum of 4 - 5 years’ experience in Payroll Function especially one where a business in a strong period of growth across all functions.
Knowledge
• Very good Knowledge of General HR legislation
Skills (including technology)
• Ability to use Word, Excel to Intermediate Level, Payroll software’s preferably Timesoft
• Ability to work independently, with strong knowledge of all HR subject matter
