As an Account Executive (Hunter) for Dropthought, the hire will be responsible for driving revenue growth across the APAC and Middle East regions. This is a full-cycle sales role where the hire will manage everything from prospecting to closing deals, with some support from our Business Development Representatives (BDRs). They will need to be a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable working independently to achieve ambitious targets.
Key Responsibilities:
• End-to-End Sales Ownership: Manage the entire sales process from lead generation and prospecting to closing deals, ensuring a strong pipeline of opportunities.
• Prospecting & Lead Generation: Identify and target key decision-makers within potential clients, leveraging your network and BDR support to build a strong pipeline.
• Solution Selling: Understand client needs and articulate how Dropthought’s solutions can address their challenges, driving value through our platform’s capabilities.
• Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within client organizations, ensuring long-term partnerships.
• Market Penetration: Develop and execute strategies to expand Dropthought’s presence in the APAC and Middle East regions.
• Collaborate with BDRs: Work closely with BDRs to optimize lead generation efforts and ensure seamless handoffs throughout the sales process.
• Reporting & Forecasting: Regularly update CRM with accurate sales data, providing forecasts and insights to the sales leadership team.
• Stay Informed: Keep up-to-date with industry trends and competitors to effectively position Dropthought’s offerings in the market.
Requirements:
• Proven track record of success in a full-cycle sales role, preferably within the SaaS industry.
• At least 10 years of closing experience with a strong track record of success at similar companies.
• Experience selling in the APAC and/or Middle East markets is highly preferred
• Strong understanding of solution-based selling and the ability to connect with clients’ pain points.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to travel as needed within the regions to meet clients and close deals.
• Proficiency in using CRM tools to manage sales activities and reporting.
