The Moody's Analytics KYC & Data Solutions Sales Team is composed of various profiles working together towards the same goal of providing new and current customers with state-of-the-art services and solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the KYC & Data Solutions sales team to build and execute on sales strategies to meet or exceed annual sales goals and targets that align with the company's vision and objectives.
- Answer RFIs, RFPs and other customer requests in the context of a sales cycle.
- Perform product demonstrations and presentations to prospects and clients.
- Conduct workshops and proofs-of-concept for prospects and clients.
- Work closely with other KYC & Data Solutions teams to stay updated on the evolution of Moody's products, services, and solutions.
- Partner with product management and product strategy teams to promote improvement in product quality and the development of new sources of revenue.
- Build customers' trust in Moody's as a trusted partner through insightful and client-specific advice leveraging market, product, and technical expertise.
- Identify additional products and services from across all Moody's businesses that clients may benefit from and introduce them appropriately into dialogue with clients.
- Be recognized as a market expert and provide product/service use cases during the sales cycle.
- Support the training of new team members.
- Share knowledge across team members by performing internal presentations, sharing documents, and insights.
- Represent Moody's as an effective external spokesperson for the organization.
- Identify opportunities, analyze risk/reward trade-offs, and build business cases.
- Represent the business at trade shows, conferences, and through written submissions leading to journals, newspapers, and trade magazines.
- Aim to become a subject matter expert in KYC & Data Solutions.
- Position requires travel (approximately 10% to 20% of your time).
Qualifications & Attributes:
- Must be fluent in English, French, and preferably other European languages.
- Experience in compliance, software, or data solutions is a must.
- Degree in business, economics, finance, marketing, or related fields.
- A Moody's employee at the Assistant Director level would typically have 5-7 years' experience, an Associate Director would typically have 8-10 years' experience, and a Director would typically have 10+ years' experience working in direct business-to-business sales roles with a focus on serving financial services and/or corporate treasury customers.
- Solid understanding of different parts of the global financial services industry, including market dynamics and customers' business drivers.
- Ability to present high-level information as well as detailed demonstrations of products & services.
- Excellent listening, verbal and written communication, and presentation skills.
- Strong team player who enjoys interacting with people of all levels in a multicultural environment.
- Must be prepared to travel eventually.
