We are looking to speak to talented and experienced Deputy Account Managers to join our team at one of our prestigious contracts based in Canary Wharf.
The Deputy Account Manager will thrive on getting the best out of people and maximising commercial opportunities. You are drawn to satisfaction from managing, training and supporting your team. You will support your team in providing a professional hospitality experience across our Corporate Catering location, ensuring that the contract and company standards are maintained and that all Client expectations are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Account Director with the management of the operation, working with the Head Chefs and Department Managers to develop the service and achieve budgeted targets.
- Management of all Food Safety & HSE systems, ensuring that all client, company & EHO audits are successful.
- Ensuring all HR processes are completed correctly, providing assistance and guidance to the Head Chefs / Managers and conducting the more serious processes such as serious disciplinary hearings in person.
- Building a strong relationship with the client and catering consultant.
- Ensuring all Profit Protection processes are maintained.
- Maintain customer engagement and participation through strategic marketing plans, conceiving and designing campaigns suitable to the various promotions.
- Reviewing and implementing actions based on customer surveys and feedback to continuously improve customer satisfaction.
- Maintain ESG reporting and continue developing further the environmental strategy, charitable donations relationships, diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
- Implement innovative services and experiences through continuous modernisation of the menus, digitalisation, etc.
- Maintain relationship with staffing agencies, effectively managing the bookings on behalf of the departments, thus to assist with delivering fantastic experiences.
Skills Required:
- Relevant experience within contract catering in a high profile corporate environment. Ideal candidate should have previous experience in a head of department or deputy account manager role.
- Demonstrates capability of managing and developing a large team, guiding head chefs and department heads in delivering operational excellence.
- Experience of working within a large staff dining environment is important.

- Good team worker, capable of energising the direct reports in order to maintain and improve all catering and hospitality services.
