Position: People Inclusion/HR Executive
Location: Hybrid - 3 days a week in Reading office
We are seeking an experienced HR Exec with a passion for partnering with people across a wide range of functions in our business. The role will work to deliver a values-led, growth and improvement-focused People service to enable a high-performing team culture.
- The point of contact for team leaders and managers from our UK operation in Reading.
- Lead the management of annual people cycle activities, including performance, talent management, and reward, ensuring our line managers are well-equipped to have quality conversations.
- Lead people programs and initiatives in support of the segment people strategy in the following areas:
- Entry-in talent strategy
- Energizing and healthy workplace
- Inclusion and diversity
- Onboarding & offboarding
- Partner with leaders to understand their business objectives, leveraging your experience and creativity to develop a strategic people plan aligned to it.
- Build trusted relationships, providing consultative, strategic, and tactical guidance to support organisational and development initiatives at all levels.
- Manage and effectively support managers to resolve all types and levels of ER cases including disciplinary, capability, grievance, and sickness absence, ensuring fairness, consistency, and legal compliance along with a positive outcome in line with business priorities.
- Collaborate with the People Operations team to ensure that all global employer-related policies are clearly represented with country-specific adaptations.
- Interpret and pragmatically apply People policy and best practice to advise and influence leaders and their teams on a full range of complex people-related matters throughout the talent lifecycle (including strategic workforce planning, talent development, succession planning, non-routine employee relations matters, etc.) to achieve positive outcomes in line with business priorities.
- Support people planning processes, including succession planning and talent development engaging with the Talent Development function on training needs, identification, and solutions.
- Collectively work with the People Operations Team to further enhance, modernise and promote People processes, maximising People system functionality for the benefit of all business users.
- Drive and support initiatives linked to DE&I, employee engagement, and work with Marketing internal communications to support roll out and traction.
- Work and drive with Talent Acquisition to ensure that we are meeting our DE&I targets.
- Drive in-country benefits, engage with benefits provider, ensure timely notifications are sent through to payroll.
- Build and drive benefit renewal with the Global Head of People & Talent.

- Experience in a high growth, volatile environment (this would be an advantage, but not completely needed).
- Able to mentor junior team members and the wider business.
Qualifications/Skills
- Degree.
- Depth understanding of employee relations and up-to-date knowledge on employment law.
- 5 years HR Experience.
- Experience in organisational re-design and associated processes.
- Ability to deliver at pace in a fast-moving, growth-focused business.
- Ability to manage change and minimise complexity.
- Strong focus on continuous improvement.
- Collaborative style that builds effective working relationships.
- Clear and credible communication skills.
