Role
What we are looking for:
An exceptional Senior Account Manager to join our rapidly expanding UK Technology Agency. The successful candidate will take the lead on a variety of technology clients, contribute to new business opportunities, and play a key part in team development.
This is an exciting opportunity to have exposure to the inner workings of a well-established agency partnering with some of the world's leading tech companies as well as those defining emerging technologies that will shape the future.
You will join an established team looking after a number of PR-led accounts. The Senior Account Manager is pivotal to the growth of their accounts and ensuring the delivery of quality results in existing programmes. The successful candidate will set a positive example to junior team members and play a key role in shaping the direction and processes of the team.
The Role:
- Manage clients through the agency, carefully managing expectations and ensuring adherence to best practice client management.
- Have an in-depth knowledge of the client's business and the sector in which they operate, applying this knowledge in day-to-day management and long-term planning for the client.
- Ensure the delivery of consistently excellent service and outputs for clients, being responsible for the quality of delivery.
- Deliver excellent client copy and harness existing journalist relationships to secure media opportunities.
- Manage client budgets and plan and monitor team hours.
- Manage the workflow for Account Executives, troubleshooting where needed, and mentoring junior team members.
- Identify opportunities for organic client growth and contribute to/lead the creation of proposals.
- Participate in new business pitches, supporting research, and bringing ideas to life in presentations.
The Desirables:
- Experience working in a B2B public relations agency in a management role.
- Experience presenting ideas both orally and in writing.
- An interest in technology.
- Previous experience in a management role in a B2B technology public relations agency.
- A Bachelor's degree.
