Our opportunity
An exciting opportunity exists for an autonomous, self-motivated HR professional to be part of a global organisation while making connections to the local community. Based at our Harvey factory and supporting Forrestdale also, the HR role will add value to the Lactalis business through the provision of proactive and customer-focused HR services.
Reporting to the Site Manager and functionally supported by the Head of HR, you will partner with, and be a key member of the Site leadership team and national HR team. You will be responsible for building relationships at all levels and providing hands-on HR assistance and guidance.

Responsibilities for this role also include:
- Experience with Enterprise Agreement interpretation & negotiation for a blue-collar workforce or a passion for learning this.
- By utilizing a ‘hands-on’, interactive approach, provide effective HR/IR services as required to all operational employees.
- Coach line managers in relation to performance management issues.
- Manage and coordinate all recruitment (end to end).
- Provide training and coaching to line managers and supervisors as necessary for the development of leaders in the business.
- Coach line managers in practices to engage and align employees.
- HR Generalist support.
To ensure your success in this role you will have solid HR experience demonstrating leadership, conflict resolution, influential presentation and negotiation skills. Some exposure to working with Visa restrictions is well regarded however not a requirement.
