State Library of Queensland is seeking an experienced and service orientated Producer, to join our Creative Production unit within the Events team. This dynamic position plays a key role in the exciting, newly-formed Events team that leads the delivery of events, venue and technical production services to external and internal State Library clients. A key focus of the Producer, Creative Production is to ensure the expert delivery of production services for State Library of Queensland's suite of internally produced events and associated programs that includes Award Ceremonies, Symposiums and Exhibition Launches.
In this role, you will lead projects through concept development to delivery, and collaborate with a variety of stakeholders and teams to produce exceptional event experiences while meeting financial targets and organisational priorities.

Responsibilities
- Planning and delivering high quality events, that support State Library programming and activation objectives.
- Overseeing the workflows of the project including developing budgets and documentation to support the decision making and delivery of events within scheduled timeframes.
- Building and maintaining effective relationships, collaborating effectively with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders to ensure the consistent delivery of professional event and production services.
- Apply venue operations and technical knowledge when utilising the venue bookings system to produce accurate and concise documentation for event set up teams and audio-visual operators.
- Providing active leadership on event days including the supervision of people and presentations.
- Supporting the Coordinator Creative Production in the day to day administration of the team including communications and reporting.
- Contributing to a positive and safe work environment by modelling conduct that is culturally capable, inclusive, respectful, and ethical.
