Roles and Responsibilities:
- The Engineer job encompasses but is not limited to the following Roles and Responsibilities:
Real-time assessment of our business position in the territory (i.e., SWOT analysis, customer needs and expectations, market share, revenue, customer input, competition, etc.)
- Creation of a solid business plan and on-going activity plan. Create Sales plan and Implement the Sales strategy
- Execution of all sales processes and strategies
- Accurate territory forecasting. Meets regional sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions
- Need to manage the existing customers, visit existing clients and develop relationships.
- Need to develop new customers, OEMs in Steel, Pharma, Oil & Gas , Automotive and other market segments
- Participate and take complete responsibility of product promotions through exhibitions, seminars, conferences, presentations etc.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks
- Achieve the Sales targets and goals set for the Region and develop the Region for the Fluid Connectors product portfolio
- Ability to propose realistic technical solutions to meet customer’s requirements.
- Ability to manage the long sales cycle from initial contact to first order, steps both technical and sales related that need to be addressed one by one.

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE
5-8 Years of relevant Industrial Sales experience handling component sales to Industrial customers across market segments mainly Steel, Pharma, Oil & Gas, Automotive
QUALIFICATION
B.E./B.Tech. in Mechanical stream
Technical
- Industrial Sales experience -B2B
- Good knowledge of connector industry (products, standards, competition) or related hydraulic/pneumatic products & key markets for the same
- Expertise in Mechanical component Sales (valves, bearing, and other hydraulic products)
- Adept in Application & Solution selling to OEMs across Steel, Pharma, Oil & Gas, Automotive customers
- Ability to manage the long sales cycle from initial contact to first order, steps both technical and sales related that need to be addressed one by one
- Knowledge of working with Sales CRM and taking care of reporting
Behavioral
- Key account management- Proven experience in handling large accounts/customers
- Excellent interpersonal, communication & presentation skills
