Job Title: Salesforce Communication Cloud Developer (Telecom Industry)
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Salesforce Communication Cloud Developer with a strong background in the telecommunications industry . The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying solutions on the Salesforce Communication Cloud platform . Your experience in telecom will play a pivotal role in tailoring Salesforce solutions that meet the unique needs of the telecommunications sector, ensuring efficient customer lifecycle management, enhanced service delivery, and operational support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Salesforce Development: Customize and develop Salesforce Communication Cloud solutions, including configuring flows, setting up product catalogs, and building customer journey workflows.
- Telecom Process Expertise: Leverage telecom industry knowledge to optimize customer lifecycle management processes, including order management, provisioning, billing, and customer service workflows.
- Salesforce Customization: Implement custom objects, validation rules, process automation, and Lightning components to meet business requirements.
- Integration: Work on integrating Salesforce Communication Cloud with external systems, such as billing systems, CRM platforms, and telecom-specific applications using APIs and middleware (e.g., Mulesoft).
- Data Management: Ensure the accuracy of customer data and streamline processes for data migration, data governance, and maintenance.
- Technical Leadership: Collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams to design scalable, efficient, and secure solutions. Lead efforts in technical discovery, gap analysis, and solution design.
- Salesforce Best Practices: Ensure that all solutions are aligned with Salesforce best practices for performance, security, and maintainability.
Key Requirements:
- Telecommunications Industry Experience: Proven experience working in the telecom industry, with an understanding of the specific challenges and processes (e.g., billing, provisioning, order management).
- Salesforce Communication Cloud Expertise: Deep knowledge of Salesforce Communications Cloud , with hands-on experience in Salesforce development and customization.
- Salesforce Certifications (Preferred):
- Salesforce Certified Communication Cloud Consultant
- Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I or II
- Salesforce Administrator
- Strong proficiency in Apex , Visualforce , Lightning Web Components (LWC) , and JavaScript .
- Experience with REST/SOAP APIs , Mulesoft , or other integration platforms.
- Knowledge of CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) systems in the telecom space.
- Business Acumen: Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions, especially within the telecom domain.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience with Salesforce Vlocity (now Salesforce Industries).
- Knowledge of telecom BSS/OSS systems.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Telecommunications, or related field (or equivalent experience).
