ABOUT THE POSITION
1. Spearheads and manages the Legal Department of assigned region
2. Handles all legal-related issues and concerns of the Company's branches in Northwest Luzon Region
3. Reviews contracts entered into by the Company which include Lease Contracts, Service Agreements, Security Agency Contracts, etc.
4. Represents the Company in Labor, Criminal and Civil cases in any administrative agencies or trial courts
5. Directs external counsels on actions and decisions that should be taken by the Company
6. Monitors Company's permits and government-related compliance
7. Acts as primary point of contact for government relations
8. Files cases for and in behalf of the Company
9. Recovers shortages of erring employees
10. Monitors, reviews and approves disciplinary action process of erring employees
11. Reviews and approves Company policies, memoranda
12. Supports the Human Capital Management in educating employees on Company’s Code of Discipline and Labor Standards
13. Performs other tasks related to the region's goal as directed by the RGM.
The position will be reporting to our Regional office in:
Dagupan City, Pangasinan
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Must be a Bar passer.
2. With at least 5 years experience as Legal Supervisor, and 1-2 years experience as a Legal Manager or equivalent
3. Expertise in Contracts and litigation
4. Leadership and industry certifications will be an advantage
Working schedule: Monday to Saturday; 8:30am to 5:30pm; onsite setup
Preferably someone who can start immediately
OTHER ABILITIES:
1. Understands office management procedures and control.
2. Wide knowledge of different HR policies and methods to implement them.
3. Knowledge of Philippine Government mandatories’ policies and regulations
4. Has a passion for working with diverse group of people and analytical in solving problems.
5. Interpersonal skills to work as a counsellor, mediator, and connector between the workforce and management.
6. Problem-solving skills to devise solutions to issues that arise or may arise in the workplace.
