Core Responsibilities
- Ownership over end-to-end process of material handling in the Pre-Pack area, including interfaces to logistics
- Mapping and analyzing current process, identification of losses and area of improvements
- Leading development of new breakthrough process with focus on technical and business goals
- Collaboration with Equipment Development engineers to create new technical solutions for emerging processes, working with external suppliers on machinery delivery and process validation, while coordinating with Quality and Safety departments to establish process requirements
- Taking part in FAT, SAT and deployment activities
- Validation of proposed and developed solutions in terms of their process across design, testing and deployment phase
- Leading the standardization of processes for the new Pre-Pack platform and overseeing the implementation of necessary updates and improvements
- Preparation of manuals for operations

Our Research & Development, Packing and Packaging organization (R&D P&P) is located in Billund, DK and Kladno, CZ and consists of bunch of enthusiasts with innovative approach who assure our LEGO products are assembled and packed into newly developed sustainable packaging in the most efficient way. Delivering sustainable packaging solutions while maintaining a competitive edge in our packing setup is our primary priority. Our team has a global responsibility for all packing equipment, and we lead projects with partners across all LEGO production sites.
Do you have what it takes?
- Deep, hands-on knowledge of LEGO Pre-Pack area and / or Logistics
- Analytical thinking that enables a comprehensive approach to processes
- Ability to focus on details in parallel with keeping in mind the overall picture
- Experienced in working with typical software as Microsoft Office; Visio would be an advantage (flow charts, general documentation)
- Strong understanding of customer needs with a customer-focused approach
- Strong command of English, both in writing and verbally
- Good communication skills including written
What would be a big plus:
- AutoCAD skill
- Mechanical or Electrical background
- Czech language skills
