About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our team.
The Accountant will be responsible for various accounting activities, including preparation of journal entries, reconciliations, month-end close process, and audit preparation.
The ideal candidate will ensure that all deliverables comply with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and contribute to special projects within the department and organization.

Responsibilities:

Verify general ledger data through monthly reconciliations and analyses Resolve outstanding issues through research and analysis
Prepare monthly journal entries with supporting documentation
Work on special projects as necessary, including implementing new processes
Improve accounting knowledge through educational workshops and professional development
Assist in cross-training, documenting procedures, and responding to audit requests
Provide guidance to less experienced staff

Education Qualification:

Required Skill:

5 years of accounting experience with a focus on financial reconciliations Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and
written form
Strong analytical skills to recognize, analyze, and solve problems
Proficient in using analytical accounting software tools
Knowledge of GAAP and accounting regulations
Ability to interpret contractual arrangements and design appropriate accounting flows
In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required in addition to the required work experience.
