Core Responsibilities
Lead a team of hard-working BI professionals: Guide and support your team through reporting challenges, offering mentorship, and helping them excel in daily operations.
Drive growth: Play a key role in hiring and developing new talent, ensuring seamless integration with our business areas.
Collaborate with business leaders: Work closely with our factory leadership team to analyze business needs, identify data-driven opportunities, and lead the execution of BI projects.
Lead BI initiatives: Own the backlog, timelines, and costs for local reporting and analytics initiatives. Lead project teams that external consultants, trainees, and analysts to ensure smooth project delivery.
Be the bridge between teams: Liaise between IT data engineering teams and local business leaders, ensuring stakeholders are always advised about project progress.
Craft the future of BI at LEGO: Contribute to global BI projects by collaborating with other specialists across our international factories, sharing best practices, and driving innovation within the BI community.
Do you have what it takes?
Proven people leadership experience, with a track record of developing and leading successful BI or data teams.
A natural leader who can inspire and challenge the status quo to achieve results.
Strong understanding of agile methodologies and experience working in agile teams.
Hands-on experience with BI reporting tools and low-code/no-code platforms.
A proactive, organized approach, able to mentor and support team members and local end-users.
Experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or Citizen Development.
Knowledge of Business Process Management or similar areas like Lean Manufacturing or Operational Excellence.
Proficiency in English and Hungarian is required, with the flexibility to work 3 days a week on-site at one of our factories or offices, and up to 2 days remotely.
