Description:
We are seeking an AI/ML Engineer with 6+ years of experience to join our
team in designing and implementing data-driven solutions that leverage
machine learning, artificial intelligence, automation, and Generative
AI. This opportunity involves working closely with our Department of
Homeland Security (DHS) client, specifically the Transportation Security
Administration (TSA), which is expanding its use of AI and automation
technologies to enhance operations, reduce costs, and improve
efficiency.
We are seeking candidates with a mix of leadership, technical, and
business experience in mission-oriented environments. We are especially
looking for candidates that have worked in DHS and have an active
EOD/DHS clearance.
This role will be responsible for supporting a wide range of project
activities spanning business and technology environments.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Collaborate with stakeholders and team members to define and implement
AI/ML strategies for data-driven decision-making
· Serve as a technical lead, driving AI and machine learning projects
from concept to deployment
· Provide thought leadership and innovative ideas to guide the
application of AI/ML within TSA’s operations
· Design, build, and deploy AI/ML models that enhance business
operations and provide predictive analytics
· Lead the development of automation solutions that streamline processes
and redeploy personnel to high-value tasks
· Maintain technical architecture ensuring data integrity and
consistency
· Develop and present AI/ML insights and solutions to technical and
nontechnical stakeholders
· Stay up to date with advancements in AI/ML, including Large Language
Models (LLMs), and apply them to business problems
· Perform other related duties as needed to support the mission.
Required Experience and Education:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Technology, Data Science, Mathematics, Computer
Science, Information Systems, or other related discipline from an
accredited college, university, or academic institution in the United
States.
· Active DHS EOD/clearance (TSA preferred)
· 6+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering, data science modeling,
and data-driven solution design
· Proficiency in programming languages (Python, R, C++) and SQL for data
extraction, modeling, and analysis
· Experience designing and implementing machine learning models,
including classification, clustering, and time series forecasting
· Strong understanding of business processes and creating process flow
diagrams
· Proven experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
for dashboard creation
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the
ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and to explain
technical concepts to non-technical users
· Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to
quickly grasp complex automation concepts
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
environment
· Attention to detail and capability to meet tight deadlines while
delivering high-quality solutions.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Prior experience working with UiPath, Power Automate, Blue Prism,
and/or Appian
· Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Microsoft Azure) and cloud
automation tools (Lambda Functions, Logic Apps).
