Location: The intersection of Iowa, Illinois and Wisconsin along the beautiful bluffs of the Mississippi River as a metropolitan service area. It is a place to grow roots with a population of just under 60,000 there is something to do for all interests arts, events, historical architecture, recreational activities, plus affordable housing and a place to raise a family private and public school options. Approximately 175 miles to Chicago!

Facility: The leading hospital in the tri-states, offering the only comprehensive cardiology center and level II regional neonatal intensive care. Other services include a trauma center, a CARF-accredited inpatient rehabilitation unit, home health care, orthopedics, retail pharmacies, palliative care, and a wide range of outpatient and community services.

Opportunity:

Full-time Monday-Friday, including 36 patient contact hours per week
Candidates must be experienced and Board Certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R)
Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit
Experience managing medical cases and a great team player who is comfortable working with an interdisciplinary care team including nurses, physicians, and therapists.
The unit has the potential for immediate growth up to 17 beds.
Patients on the rehabilitation unit range in age from 18 years to geriatrics.
Common diagnoses seen on the unit include stroke, head injury, spinal cord injury, Guillain Barre syndrome, Parkinson s disease, multiple sclerosis, major multiple traumas, cardiac & orthopedic conditions, and other conditions causing impairments in functional areas.
The schedule for this is full-time, Monday-Friday, which includes 36 patient contact hours per week.

Compensation:

Competitive salary range based on experience and training (to be discussed at interview).
240 Hours ATO (Annual Time Off)
