Senior Manager, Compensation and Benefits Location: NYC

SummaryGlobal leader of benefits and compensation to lead, develop, and expand our compensation and benefits philosophy to support our rapidly growing company. This position will work closely with the Human Resources and Finance teams to drive innovative solutions and execute a compelling total rewards strategy. Reporting to the Chief People Officer, this individual will work with a talented team of Human Resources (HR) professionals who are making an impact at the client. We are looking for someone who is passionate about plan design, implementation, management, and ongoing evaluation of our compensation and benefits programs.
Qualifications:
Minimum 15+ years of previous experience, with 7+ years of global experience (including APAC), in similar roles focusing on compensation, benefits, and wellness programs; Team management and international experience is required
In-depth knowledge of benefits programs (health, wellness, and retirement plans), leave policies, and related benefits law (i.e., FSA/HSA programs, COBRA, FMLA)
Experience building compensation packages and bonus programs for various departments and levels in a rapidly changing organization
Strong understanding of external marketplace and dynamics influencing business and stay abreast of trends and changes in the regulatory environment
Intermediate or advanced experience using Microsoft Office with a priority on Excel skills and proficient in HRIS, compensation, benefits, payroll, and 401k systems
Experience with end-to-end management and reporting of employee data and ensuring data integrity across HRIS systems and manual spreadsheets
Understand and apply effective change-management principles, including leadership and management of change programs and methodologies needed to drive large-scale change processes
Experience working for a global company, as well as a growth organization demonstrating adaptability and change management skills
Experience with vendor selection, RFPs, and implementations
Strong communication skills; both verbal and written
Responsibilities: This individual will source ideas and suggestions from the employee population, review relevant benchmarks and the competitive landscape, and then recommend balanced decisions about how and what to implement.
The ideal candidate must be both strategic and hands-on in managing all facets of compensation and benefits (health, wellness, retirement, and leave programs) and have a deep understanding of market trends, regulatory requirements, and best practices in compensation and benefits.
This individual will use an innovative approach to ensure our offerings are competitive, drive business results, and enhance our culture.
They will be the point person in conducting regular compensation analyses to determine market competitiveness and internal equity

This person will manage a team of 3+ individuals across compensation and total rewards.
Lead and mentor the Total Rewards team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture.
Own the compensation and benefits programs for all countries where the client has employees.
Lead the global benchmarking, data analysis, program development, and operational and administrative processes for broad-based compensation, medical, dental, disability, and other health and welfare benefits offerings.
Implement the compensation function including base salary and incentive compensation, sales compensation, equity administration, market data survey selection, and participation.
Lead the annual year-end compensation process including the implementation and continuous administration of the company's compensation system, providing support to the business and HR throughout the process.
Provide information, analysis, and implementation support for all M&A transactions from diligence through integration.
Manage and update all policy and procedure handbooks globally.
Manage the Global Mobility program.
Assist HR team in the market evaluation of jobs and review of jobs from a legal, compliance, and FLSA perspective.
Partner with external Benefits administrators to stay abreast of the market. Make recommendations to supplement and update offerings and policies to stay competitive and provide services aligned with employee needs.
Stand up new compensation and benefits programs in new countries the client expands into.
Manage and maintain benefit programs such as retirement plans, leave policies, wellness programs, and insurance policies.
Manage annual open enrollment and develop and implement enrollment campaigns and initiatives.
Manage FMLA, family leave, and other leave policies to ensure leaves are documented, communicated, and administered consistent with company policies and with compassion and empathy.
Make effective use of EAP, mental health, and other behavioral programs as part of overall employee wellness.
Ensure compliance with relevant laws pertaining to compensation and benefits, in partnership with HR, Legal, and outside counsel; Ensure all benefit program documentation and notices are updated and distributed.
