We have a unique opportunity in retail and food management now available at our Billings location on South Frontage Road near Zoo Drive. Town & Country Supply Association is looking for a full-time store manager with experience in retail and deli service. Successful candidates should have experience in C-Store operations and full deli service management.
Town and Country Supply Association is a co-op that was founded in 1997 with services offered in agronomy, energy, farm and ranch supply and c-stores. The co-op includes facilities in Hardin, Lockwood, Billings, Edgar, Bridger, and Laurel with over 200 employees and we are still growing. Our current opening is a full-time managerial position that requires good mathematical skills, the ability to learn new programs, excellent customer service, commitment to covering shifts, problem solving and decision making based on logic and reason. This position will oversee the operations and safety of the c-store and deli with responsibilities including but not limited to developing sales promotion programs, monitoring & maintaining stock inventory levels, receive and unload deliveries, recruit, evaluate and train store staff. Adhere and enforce company policies and procedures, implement advertising and sales promotion programs along with the ability to excel in leading and taking direction.
Our managers should have exemplary customer service skills and the ability to motivate others while promoting a safe work environment for all staff members and customers. We are looking for a manager that can communicate effectively both verbally and written, delegate but also lead by example, effectively work on budgeting, expense control and has P&L knowledge.
This position requires reliable transportation as manager will be responsible for errands between the facility and our corporate office in Laurel, MT. Candidate will receive mileage reimbursement but will be required to carry insurance on their own vehicle. Candidate will need to accept the co-ops driving policy which includes an annual motor vehicle report that passes safety requirements.
