Key Responsibilities
As a Finance Trainee, you will be involved in a variety of tasks and responsibilities, including:
- Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Support the finance team in the development of budgets and financial forecasts.
- Data Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
- Compliance & Audit Support: Assist in ensuring financial records comply with company policies and regulatory requirements; support internal and external audits.
- Process Improvement: Participate in the development and implementation of financial processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Project Support: Contribute to various finance-related projects and initiatives as needed.
Required Skills & Competencies
To succeed in this role, you should possess the following skills and competencies:
- Educational Background: Student pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (full-time student)
- Numerical & Analytical Skills: Strong numerical aptitude and ability to analyze complex financial data.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in managing financial records and reports.
- Proficiency in MS Office: Particularly in Excel, with the ability to use formulas, pivot tables, and other advanced functions.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication (hungarian & english) skills to effectively interact with team members and stakeholders.
- Time Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Problem-Solving Ability: Ability to think critically and propose solutions to financial issues.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being able to work independently when required.
- Adaptability: Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools, technologies, and processes.
Expectations:
- mut be able to attend 3 days during a week (not consecutively) to secure continuity of delivering tasks
