CAT Scan Technician
Bethesda MD
MUST:
Two years of experience as a Registered Radiologic Technologist.
Current ARRT (R)(CT) certification
Active Maryland licensure
CPR certification
DUTIES:
Performs a variety of radiological procedures including computed tomography and special tomographic procedures.
Performs quality-control measures. Performs all CT examinations according to department procedure manual and established
protocols
Interviews patients (in/out) for history pertaining to CT exam
Prepares and/or administers contrast media, oral and IV contrast
Monitors and observes any abnormal changes in patients color, respiration, heart rate and responsiveness
Responds appropriately to emergency situations, administers first aid/CPR as needed
