2 years exp required performing a wide range of administrative, secretarial, and organizational skills such as preparing correspondence, scheduling appointments, and arranging travel.
Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and appointment calendar.
Exp Utilizing a variety of software programs (e.g., MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access, Outlook, SharePoint, etc.)
Knowledge of proper grammar, spelling, punctuation, and correspondence procedures.
Ability to work efficiently in handling multiple assignments.
Ability to deal tactfully with various levels of personnel.
Ability to work within a team environment.

DUTIES:
The Secretary Admin will support large Government federal entity
Typing, proofreading, and editing a variety of technical, scientific, and other government documents and official correspondence in accordance with standards, guidelines, and agency procedures.
Reviewing incoming correspondence, announcements, and other mail. Utilizing a variety of software programs (e.g., MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access, Outlook, SharePoint, etc.) in performing assigned work.
Maintaining automated tracking or ticket systems for proper handling of controlled correspondence and action items.
Answering telephone calls from a variety of customers and greeting visitors. Managing and maintaining supervisors calendars and scheduling meetings and events.
Coordinating work assignments and office coverage with other administrative staff to ensure mission accomplishment and to support a collaborative work environment.
Making travel arrangements, preparing travel authorizations and vouchers, within prescribed timeframes.
Preparing electronic time and attendance records.
