Windows System Administrator

MUST :
Experience Windows Systems Administrator
Active DoD Secret Clearance and eligible for Top Secret Clearance
Also must pass a T4 Federal background check
5+ years of experience with Server administration (Windows 2012, 2016, and 2019)
Hands on experience with maintaining and deploying with SCCM / MECM tools
Well versed with virtual administration and concepts using VMware tools
Experience installing, managing, and upgrading Windows-based systems and servers
Experience racking hardware, running cabling (copper/fiber) and monitoring data center operations/availability
Experience with Enterprise backup solutions, tape robots and virtual tape solutions
Solid understanding of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DFS, Clustered and stand-alone servers Windows ACLs and permissions
Experience with vulnerability remediation and system hardening is a plus
Experience with data migration is a plus
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Able to work well on a team as well as on individual tasks
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Strong client facing skills
Must have at least ONE of the following active certifications : CCNA, Server+, M365 Administrator
Bachelor s Degree in related field or 8 additional years of experience
DUTIES :
Ideal candidate will help with providing overall system maintenance and improvements for Government client
This candidate be will responsible for server operations and utilities on the servers
This candidate will also be responsible for configuration, patch management, version and sub-version upgrades, and all aspects of the availability of servers
Identify weak points or gaps in the systems architecture and provide recommendations for improving operations and the end user experience
Support engineering, product integration and deployment of IT systems to support the organizational mission
Create design and implementation documents (to include network diagrams, system component diagrams, etc.) as well as test plans, operation manuals and training
Work with other agencies, divisions and organizations to implement federally mandated solutions and shared services
Participate in organizational change management processes, ensuring all changes are recorded and approved
Resolve problems that have been escalated from the help desk
Willing to take on various projects to aid in the progress and advancement of the project and its mission for Government client
