Plan and provide advanced and/or specialized nurs ing care for patientsin accordance with guidelines established within th e Discipline ofNursing ClinicalLadder Program; participate in education al activitiesdepartmental committees, research projects or other health relatedprojects as assigned. Work Performed
Identify care needs for patient populations across the continuum ofcare. Minimum Qualifications
Education
Work requires graduation from an accredited nursing program with a BSN degree. Incumbents in this job classification effective on or before 10/01/2015 who currently hold an Associate's Degree in Nursing or a Nursing Diploma may remain in this classification under a "grandfathered" status. Transferring to another job classification will require that all minimum qualifications of that job be met and will result in a loss of grandfathering status for this classification.
Experience
Applicants must meet all requirements set forth by the DUHS Career Ladder Program for the level IV.
Degrees, Licensures, Certifications
Must have current or compact RN licensure in the state of North Carolina. BLS required.
