What You Will Do:
Guidehouse supports programs and initiatives for the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) at a large federal agency. The Operational and Executive Support Analyst will have the opportunity to help shape and execute these strategic priorities. They will become a central member of our client’s front office team, assessing our customer's current posture, establishing roadmaps, working with vendors on both technical and non-technical solutions to the client’s financial practices, and supporting high-collateral, fast-paced, initiatives with executive-level visibility. You should expect to have the ability to complete the following activities on a regular basis:
Build and maintain a trusting relationship with a key Government executive in a fast-paced environment.
Identification and drafting of key deliverables and reports due to the OCIO and executive-level leadership. These deliverables may include technical topics such as Zero Trust or compliance topics such as responding to Congressional inquiries or audits.
Working with finance staff to conduct project-cost estimations and assist the CISO with recording funding for key priority initiatives for the department.
Coordinating across multiple federal teams and with executives to collect input on strategic plans.
Tracking task completion and providing updates to senior leadership.
Supporting program management through the facilitation of routine processes such as staff meetings, project planning, schedule management, reporting, and monitoring of performance indicators, risks and issues.
Designing, implementing, and improving business processes and workflows.
What You Will Need:
US Citizenship and ability to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD Public Trust
Bachelor’s Degree
Four (4) or more years of experience managing complex schedules, composing communications, and/or performing policy research/analysis.
Exceptional social skills, relationship building abilities, tact and confidence to build trust with a key Government executive.
Experience working with data sets, policy research/writing, and/or document analysis.
What Would Be Nice To Have:
An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED SECRET or TOP SECRET Federal or DoD security clearance.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
EIGHT (8) or more years of experience managing large and complex technology integration projects.
Knowledge of using Microsoft tools
Desire to be responsible for a process from end-end and work interpedently to ensure its success.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Flexible, customer-centric approach to support rapidly changing business needs and new priorities.
Aptitude for multitasking and strong attention to detail.
Ability to identify and address client needs, build solid relationships with clients and customers, and communicate in an organized and knowledgeable manner.
Subject matter expertise relating to government agencies' relationship with the United States Congress and other branches of government.
The annual salary range for this position is $109,100.00-$163,700.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
