Position Overview:
- Status: Open
- Specialty: Orthopaedic Surgery
- Work Schedule: Days with on-call responsibilities
- Call Frequency: Approximately 4 calls per month
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a wide range of orthopaedic surgeries, including:
- Total Hip Arthroplasty
- Total Knee Arthroplasty
- Revision Joint Surgery
- Provide comprehensive pre- and post-operative care to patients
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including trauma, sports medicine, pediatrics, hand specialists, and podiatry
- Stay current on the latest advances in total joint arthroplasty
- Utilize state-of-the-art technology, including Stryker MAKO robotics for minimally invasive procedures
Qualifications:
- Board Certification: Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopaedic Surgery (0-5 years of fellowship) from the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery (ABOS)
- Fellowship Training: Fellowship-trained in Adult Reconstruction is required
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in total joint arthroplasty preferred
- Licensing: Active Michigan license or in the process of obtaining is highly preferred
