Commercial Refrigeration Technician wanted. This job involves the maintenance, diagnosis and repair of commercial refrigeration systems commonly installed in supermarkets and convenience stores. We are looking for someone with knowledge of leak detection, leak repairs & handling refrigerants; electrical control circuits used in HVAC&R industry, able to work on 115-208-230-volt single phase & 3 phase power to 480 volts, and with LP & Natural Gas; have piping, brazing and soldering skills.
We are willing to train the right individual with electrical background, HVAC or refrigeration experience.
Our work also involves boilers, heat recovery systems, make-up air systems and rooftop packaged HVAC units; energy management systems; multi-circuit condensers with fan cycling and/or variable speed drives, walk-in/reach-in coolers and freezers, self-contained merchandisers, condensing units, parallel racks; ice machines, glycol condensing systems.
This job involves extensive travel and occasional overnight stays out of town. Overtime required as needed. Must participate in rotating after hour/on call emergency schedule.
What we are looking for:
- Commercial refrigeration/supermarket experience preferred but not required
- EPA Universal certification
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Strong electrical background
- Must have a valid driver's license with a good driving record
- Physically able to climb ladders and to lift objects up to 80 pounds
