The Planning Specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing effective plans and strategies to ensure the successful execution of projects and initiatives. This role requires excellent analytical skills, the ability to work collaboratively across departments, and a strong understanding of planning processes and best practices.
Duties and responsibilities:
Oversee the daily production planning functions to achieve the company’s business objectives
Take full responsibility for production planning, strategic planning (e.g. auxiliary material processing), and material supply management
Collaborate to assist in the design / improvement of the company's supply chain system while proposing/ implementing cost control strategies
Participate in the development of the company's annual business plan and organize / implement strategic supply chain plans
Analyze industry market trends and corporate strategies to assist company management in making better decisions
Profit Management: Continuously optimize and provide timely and accurate feedback on order profit situation with date. Communicate Bill of materials sales price adjustments or production order vs sales request variance to ensure the achievement of profit targets while introducing new products and materials, promoting continuous improvement and innovation, reducing costs, and enhancing overall order profitability
Lean Supply Chain Management: Responsible for organizing and formulating the overall supply chain strategy. Drive the effective execution of departmental key performance indicators (KPI) and tasks. Take responsibility for benchmarking relevant operational indicators against industry or competitors’ data to assist base management in making better decisions
Comprehensive Operations Management: Streamline the supply chain process to ensure efficient information transmission and response. Strengthen the connection between the production end, supply end, and sales end of the supply chain. Oversee the timely resolution of order process issues, strengthen cost control and inventory control, improve inventory turnover rate, reduce costs, eliminate waste, and ensure timely completion of order delivery at appropriate intervals
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or above in engineering, science, economics and management, or relevant fields
8+ years’ relevant experience with successful experiences in production manufacturing, equipment technology upgrades, logistics layout optimization, new factory and base planning
Familiar with the concepts, planning, and implementation of manufacturing, lean management, and smart factories
Proficiency in the application of business software or modules such as ERP, MES, WMS, SCM, CRM, PLM, SAP, EAM and APM
Excellent English oral and written communication skills
Leadership and team management experience
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Possess certain analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
CPSM certificate is a plus.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a demanding environment.
Proficient in English; Mandarin a plus.

Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
Physical requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities.
