Job Description:
Virginia Crane is actively seeking a n Electrician who can understand electrical drawings/troubleshoot and start up Overhead Cranes during the manufacture in the shop. This is a position open for 1st shift (40-56 hours per week) in Ashland, VA.
Skills:
- Ability to read and understand electrical blue prints.
- Able to troubleshoot all electrical components of a Crane.
- Able to program and start up Cranes.
- VFD experience a must FUJI; MAGNATEK; TOSHIBA; ABB
- 480-volt AC and 250-volt DC experience.
- 3 to 5 years’ experience a must.
- Show up to work on time every day.
- Work 8 - 10 hours per day +, and Saturdays as required.
- Shift is 6am – 4:30pm Monday – Friday.
- Able to work safely in a Heavy Industrial environment.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
