Job Summary
This position is primarily responsible for completing all necessary documentation for the SBA packing file.
General Responsibilities
- Generates closing checklist and coordinates initial kickoff call with borrower, loan officer, and attorney.
- Works closely with borrower, loan officer, and attorney to ensure smooth closing process.
- Communicates in a timely matter with borrower on missing items required to complete loan closing.
- Maintains control over loan(s) in process to detect any potential and/or developing problems and ensures all department managers and loan officer are informed of the issues at hand.
- Reconciles equity injection and makes final verification determination.
- Carries fluent knowledge regarding the review of AIA contracts, permits, builder’s risk and other construction documentation.
- Processes draw funding requests as needed.
- Builds electronic loan folder and scans loan documentation into electronic scanning system.
- Completes additional responsibilities assigned by SBA manager as needed.
Experience and/or Education Requirements:
- Must have detailed banking knowledge and experience. A minimum of three years’ experience in loan portfolio administration is preferred.
- A Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, accounting, or equivalent experience is required.
- Must be detailed oriented, have good time management skills, ability to work independently, and strong customer service skills.
