SUMMARY:
The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for to providing administrative support, project management, event coordination and entry-level marketing support related to the organization’s marketing strategy. This position requires strong attention to detail, solid organizational capabilities, the ability to communicate effectively and the ability to manage multiple projects within tight deadlines. The Marketing Coordinator will help manage incoming marketing projects requests from Health employees and departments.
PRIMARY JOB DUTIES:
- Performs duties associated with interdepartmental requests for print and marketing material. Serves as a project coordinator for requests coming from all other Health departments, Health Clinics, as well as outside organizations.
- Support the director and marketing team with administrative duties and special projects as assigned.
- Provide support for various marketing activities, including events and internal marketing efforts.
- Manage an activity calendar to help coordinate team workload.
- Assist in the management of the invoicing/AP process.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly review presentations to share information with partners about marketing efforts and results.
- Occasional availability on evenings and weekends for organizational needs.
- Coordinates video and photography shoots for website, intranet, service providers and employee awards/recognitions on and off site.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Fulfills departmental and Hospital responsibilities including: attending staff meetings as appropriate, reading all meeting minutes and posted communications, participating in departmental performance improvement activities, attending all Hospital and department-specific required inservices, and maintaining an active role in problem solving and resolution.

Utilizing solid project management skills, the Marketing Coordinator will establish realistic timelines for all projects. In addition, the Marketing Coordinator will communicate progress made on respective projects to requesting individual / department. A high degree of productivity will be key to managing multiple projects simultaneously.
ATTENDANCE:
Assumes responsibility for attendance and punctuality in order to promote the efficient operation of the Hospital and essential components of solid employee performance. Poor attendance and tardiness disrupt productivity and make it difficult to function effectively. Each employee shall be responsible for being present at the correct time each day.

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT:
The Marketing Coordinator will continually seek learning opportunities in order to increase the skill set required to perform the job duties in this job description. Conferences, training DVD’s, training classes, and continuing education should all be pursued appropriately for skill enhancement.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required. Preferably in Marketing, Communications, Events or related liberal arts major required.
- Licensure: None.
- Experience: A minimum of two (2) years’ experience working in marketing, sales, event coordination or communication field. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with a project management system, such as Basecamp, and Monday.com preferred.
- Essential Technical/Motor Skills: Visual and typing on computer.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong ability to set priorities, solve problems and be resourceful under pressure. Must be able to interact professionally with employees, partners and vendors. Solid interpersonal skills and the ability to work with physicians and hospital personnel.
