Water/Wastewater Project Manager - Sewer Pipeline Repair Projects

Delon Hampton & Associates, Chartered (DHA) is seeking a Water/Wastewater Project Manager with pipeline rehabilitation and bypass experience for a program management contract.

SALARY RANGE
$135,200 to $187,200

‍Responsibilities

Prepare Requests for Quotation (RFQ) and Requests for Proposal (RFP);
Develop studies and support capital improvement project planning, including permitting processes;
Oversee and manage designs prepared by others, as well as review design and construction submittals; and
Coordinate with various stakeholders and manage multiple project schedules and budgets.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field;
8 to 25 years of experience in engineering design and management;
Professional Engineering (PE) license in Washington, DC, or the ability to obtain one within one year;
Familiarity with trenchless technologies for pipeline upgrades, project permitting processes, and bypass systems;
Knowledge of DC Water design standards is preferred;
Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office programs is required; and
Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.

Working Conditions
Work is performed within a general office environment about 90% of the time. Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require occasional standing and walking. Field work is required about 10% of the time where work may be conducted outside in one or more of the following conditions: heat or cold, wet or humid, and dry or arid. Must be able to work in confined spaces. Some lifting (up to 25 lbs.) may be required as needed. Assignment is five days per week in client's office in Washington, DC.‍
