Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Technicians in
Minneapolis, MN. As an
Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Technician you will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, overhauling, upgrading, and cleaning aircraft in compliance with Federal Aviation Administration regulations, aircraft manufacturer recommendations, and company policies. Technicians at all levels maintain detailed records of work conducted, inspections performed, and safety compliance.
Key Responsibilities: - Perform routine and complex maintenance tasks, including engine runs, taxi operations, engine and flight control rigging, and troubleshooting aircraft systems.
- Read and interpret technical data, make work order entries, and maintain detailed records.
- Supervise and mentor junior technicians, manage multiple projects and crews, and communicate effectively with customers and senior leadership.
- Ensure adherence to safety rules, regulations, and company procedures.
This is a
full-time, contingent opportunity.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Associate’s degree or equivalent
- Relevant field experience completing inspections and repairs
- Airframe and Powerplant license required
- Ability to interpret technical documents, communicate effectively, and manage projects and teams
- Experience working with corporate/business aircraft
Additional Requirements: - Must pass background checks, drug tests, and be insurable by the company.
- Strong attention to detail and high ethical standards.
Pay Rate: $30.00 – $54.00 per hour *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
