We are looking for an Electro-Mechanical Assembler I to join our team. The ideal candidate should be able to:
• Assemble, modify, wire solder, and/or adjust instrument assemblies and/or subassemblies which may or may not have complete documentation or detailed finalized design information.
• Follow method sheet instructions as designed. Follow material handling procedures to assure proper signaling is done to prevent part shortages.
• Perform quality inspection as prescribed by method sheets. Responsible for pulling customer spare parts orders accurately while ensuring all ship dates are met.
• Assemble kit assemblies as directed. Responsible for packaging and shipping of customer orders.
• Occasionally the performance of other duties as deemed necessary by business conditions as required.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum high school education or equivalent.
- 0-2 years of related experience.
- Demonstrated computer experience required. Demonstrated ability to solder.
- Heavy lifting required up to 65 pounds. Knowledge and use of hand tools.
- Must be able to read blueprints.
- Must have ability and be able to demonstrate tube bending.
- Must have ability to test as well as demonstrate finished product testing using special instrumentation.
- Safety shoes and safety glasses are required.
- Due to the nature of the job, overtime will be required periodically, both scheduled and nonscheduled.
