Role: FPGA Designer
Client: DOD-Aerospace
Location: Orlando, FL
Duration: 1-year contract
Hourly Rate: up to $100/hr (W2, non-benefited)
Due to the nature of work performed within the facility, US citizenship is required with the ability to obtain Interim Secret Clearance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, design, verify, and document FPGA development.
- Architect, design, and simulate systems, handling aspects from high-level design to synthesis, place and route, and timing and power utilization.
- Conduct experimental tests and evaluations using specialized equipment.
- Assist circuit card designers with trade studies.
- Draft and release design requirement specifications.
- Debug and troubleshoot FPGA-related issues in a production environment.
Minimum Requirements:
- FPGA Design and Verification: 12+ years
- C/C++ Programming: 7+ years
- Intel Processors for Embedded Real-Time Systems: 4+ years
- FPGA Hardware Integration and Design Validation (Including Simulation Validation): 12+ years
- Embedded Systems: 6+ years
- Programmable Logic Controls (PLC): 2-4 years
- C++: 6+ years (advanced level)
- HDLBASE: 4-6 years
- Code Documentation and Processing: 6+ years
- Hardware: 6+ years
- Hardware Integration: 6+ years
- Programming: 6+ years
- Simulation: 4-6 years
