Job Title: O365 Tenant Automation Engineer
Location: Chantilly, VA and Fort Meade. 50/50 hybrid scheduled.
Clearance: Active Secret required. This position supports a government
contract.

Our client is seeking an O365 Tenant Automation Engineer to provide support on our Defense Enterprise Office Solution (DEOS) Cloud Service Offering contract.
Selected candidate will support via a combination of remote (50%) and onsite (50%) at either Ft Meade, Md or the secure facility in Chantilly, Va. Please note that no travel costs will be provided.
How An 0365 Tenant Automation Engineer Will Make An Impact:
• Follow software development best practices to facilitate collaboration, feature enhancement, issue tracking, testing, development, and production deployment.
• Implement automation of tenant management and other tasks using Power Platform, PowerShell, APIs, etc.
• Utilize parameter driven, declarative syntax models, when possible, to afford flexibility and simplicity to subscribing organizations.
• Implement Policy as Code (PaC) using platforms like Ansible, Terraform, M365DSC, etc.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, supporting release validation efforts.
• Provides top-level technical expertise, including performing in-depth and complex software systems programming and analysis.
• Designs architectures to include the software, hardware, and communications to support present technical specifications, while ensuring relevance, functionality, and adaptability for present and future cross-functional requirements and interfaces.
• Ensures these systems are compatible and in compliance with the standards for DoD architectures.
• Determines and identifies high level functional and technical requirements based on interactions with the user community and knowledge of the enterprise architecture.
• Interacts with project management to plan project schedules and technical direction.
• Develops software design documents and technology white papers. Instrumental in selection of development tools.
• Develops high level system design diagrams, testing, and documentation.
• Responsible for quality assurance review and the evaluation of existing and new software products.
What You’ll Need To Succeed (Required):
• Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 10 years related technical experience required. An additional 4 years of related technical experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
• Active Secret security clearance required.
• DoD 8570 IAT II (Security+ or equivalent) certification required.
• Experience in Cloud, Azure, MS Office 365 support environments.
• PowerShell scripting – specifically with Graph and Azure function apps.
• Experience with an automation framework.
• Power Platform/Power BI experience.
What You’ll Need To Succeed (Desired):
• Automation of tenant configurations using Microsoft 365 related API endpoints.
• Online collaboration on configuration changes using a distributed revision control system (i.e. Git).
• Experience with the Microsoft 365 Management Interfaces.
• Experience with Agile/SCRUM software development.
